[Project Overview]
Datang Guizhou Fa'er Power Generation Co., Ltd. is a large pithead thermal power enterprise with multiple generating units on site. The A, B, C, D, E, and F coal mills of Units 1–4, along with the pulverizing air ducts, have long been subjected to high-speed pulverized coal scouring and flue gas corrosion, resulting in severe inner wall wear on pipelines and equipment, with potential risks of coal dust leakage and equipment aging. It is now planned, taking advantage of the unit overhaul window, to install hexagonal mesh lining on the coal mill outlet pulverized coal pipes, the straight sections and suspension rod areas of the separator outlet pulverized coal pipe elbows, and the coal mill inlet hot primary air ducts. Concurrently, comprehensive anti-wear repair operations will be carried out including restoration of the internal guide vanes in the air ducts, as well as overall anti-wear treatment for the primary air chamber, separator top plates, and the coal mill bodies themselves.

[Construction Site Work]
The construction scope of this project covers multiple critical wear-prone areas, specifically including the coal mill outlet pulverized coal pipes, the straight section suspension rod positions after the first elbow of the coal mill separator outlet pulverized coal pipes, the coal mill inlet hot primary air ducts (with hexagonal mesh lining installation), the internal guide vanes of the air ducts, the interior of the primary air chamber, the separator top plates, and the coal mill bodies themselves. All of the above areas are key zones that have long been subjected to high-speed pulverized coal scouring and medium friction, with prominent wear issues, making them the core focus of this anti-wear repair project.

During the construction process, Beijing Titan-Shield Technology adopted various anti-wear measures for different components, including bonded ceramic wear protection, welded ceramic wear protection, and ceramic coating with hexagonal mesh wear protection. Each of these processes is well-suited to the complex operating conditions of power plant coal mills and air ducts. Compared with traditional wear protection methods, they offer the advantages of longer-lasting protection and stronger adaptability, fundamentally reducing the risk of equipment wear and leakage, and extending equipment maintenance intervals.
