Anti-Wear Construction for Coal Mill Body, Pulverized Coal Pipelines, and Flue Gas & Air System in the Pulverizing System – Donghua Thermal Powe

2026-06-24

[Project Overview]

Baotou Donghua Thermal Power Co., Ltd. is located in Donghe District, Baotou City, Inner Mongolia. Its Phase I 2×300MW heating thermal power units were commissioned in December 2005, and were upgraded and expanded to 2×320MW through comprehensive optimization and retrofitting in 2012. The current heating capacity has reached 20 million square meters. To eliminate the hazards of pulverized coal accumulation and spontaneous combustion/explosion in the pulverizing system and flue gas/air ducts, prevent fire and explosion accidents, ensure personnel and equipment safety, and guarantee safe and stable unit operation, a special anti-explosion, fire prevention, and safety treatment program has been initiated for the boiler pulverizing system and flue gas/air ducts, including wear-resistant ceramic patching and wear-resistant cementitious mortar patching.

[Construction Site Work]

The construction site work for this project is primarily focused on anti-explosion, fire prevention, and wear protection treatment for the boiler pulverizing system and flue gas/air ducts. All main materials used in construction, including ceramics, wear-resistant mortar, and ceramic adhesives, meet high-temperature resistance standards. The construction covers specialized operations across multiple areas, including ceramic lining installation on pulverized coal pipelines and outlet short sections, ceramic lining installation on the coal mill body, and hexagonal wire mesh wear-resistant mortar construction. Additionally, wear-resistant mortar is applied to areas such as the electrostatic precipitator, air preheater, and the deflector plates, support tubes, and side wall windward surfaces at the denitrification outlet flue.
